I’m currently packing the last of my luggage for a tropical vacation, so I thought it was the perfect time to address a question I get frequently: what to pack for different types of travel.
A lot of pre-travel anxiety comes from not knowing what to pack, so having a go-to packing list on hand makes the entire process quicker and less stressful. You can add or remove items depending on the length of your trip and the activities on your itinerary, but it’s always good to have a solid place to start, with fool-proof items you will actually wear and feel confident in, whether you’re going on vacation, a romantic getaway, or business-related excursion.
In addition to neutral basics you can easily layer, like a tank top and cardigan, you want to pack pieces that can be mixed and matched and easily dress up or down with a quick change of shoes or accessories.
Here are three checklists to get you started:
Your Itinerary:
Daytime adventures, exploring, hitting the town.
In Your Suitcase:
TAGS: beach, business, packing, suitcase, travel, traveling, vacation, work trip
