After spending a day in Seattle to celebrate our anniversary last week, we took a short trip to Vancouver. It was my first time visiting and wow was I impressed and taken by the city’s beauty, great food and diversity!

We spent 3 days in the city, and thanks to all of your suggestions on Instagram and Facebook of things to see and places to eat, we had an amazing time! Sadly, we didn’t have quite enough time to get to each and every one, but we did manage to visit the top suggested.

Exploring & boutique shopping in Gastown, the city’s oldest neighborhood, was one of my favorite outings- lots of amazing architecture and unique eats.

Of all the restaurants mentioned, Nuba was by far the most recommended and it didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious- Najib’s special cauliflower tossed with lemon and sea salt was hands down my favorite dish.

Revolver, Vancouver, BC

Dave appreciates great coffee, so he enjoyed going through the long list of suggestions, of which he says Revolver was the best of the few he tried during our stay.

Tanesha Awasthi visits Gastown, BC.

To us, no vacation is complete without dessert after lunch and dinner, so thanks to all of your suggestions, we ended up trying tons of ice cream and milkshakes around the city! One of the most unique (and delicious) were the organic milk mango popsicles at Soft Peaks. The ice cream is milk flavored, so adding cereal toppings to the soft serve is a must!

I’ve been afraid of heights since I was a kid, so walking across the Capilano Suspension Bridge 230 feet above the river was a major accomplishment.

Thanks again to everyone who gave suggestions, we can’t wait to visit Vancouver again- stay tuned for a few outfit posts from the trip!
