Since having Narayan three years ago, wellness has taken on a new meaning for me. I used to work out for the pure energy boost and outward effects it had on my body. Now, I do it so I can be as strong and healthy as I can for the long-term. I walk almost daily with our English Bully, Kingston, and meet two to three times a week with a trainer to rehab my knees and address the sciatica issue I developed while I was pregnant.

Don’t get me wrong—it’s still nice to look in the mirror and see the payoff of all those hours spent in the gym, but now I’m working toward a bigger goal of wellness that includes how I feel on the inside when I’m being active. Part of my workout equation has always been to have the right clothes to work out in, because if I’m not feeling confident, it definitely affects my workout.
