Leather and Lace, An Unexpected Pairing

I’ve had this moto jacket since 2013 and every time I do a closet clean out it ends up in my donate pile! Somehow though, I always convince myself to keep it just in case, which I’m now thankful for, after seeing how well it pairs with lace tops and skirts.

I like the way a biker jacket balances out a softer look, adding just the right amount of edge to make my girlier looks more current, without taking away from my classic, feminine style. In a look like this, I can still feel like myself, just a bit cooler (and very pregnant now at 33 weeks along!).

I doubt I’ll be throwing this jacket into the donate pile anytime soon – this one’s a keeper! And if you don’t already have this style moto jacket, I highly recommend adding one to your wardrobe STAT.
