One of my favorite ways to prove any garment can be versatile enough for my wardrobe, is to style it two different ways.  For me, fitting into my wardrobe means fitting into my lifestyle by being able to wear it for a meeting or fashion event, a date night, or dressing it down for weekend. Case in point: this ultra-trendy color block peplum dress I borrowed from Gwynnie Bee.

For those of you who aren’t familiar, Gwynnie Bee is a clothing service that let’s you borrow for a fraction of the cost of owning! The virtual closet boasts name brand clothing in sizes 10-32 from some of my favorite retailers, like Asos Curve, Eloquii, Anna Scholz and many more. My fave pieces to borrow are special occasion dresses or super trendy pieces I might only wear once.  Another reason I love borrowing is I can test the quality and fit of brands I’ve never tried, before buying.  

When I saw this color block peplum dress, I immediately knew it would work for a day of fun meetings I have coming up with a few local, San Francisco based brands, and could easily transition from day to night for a dinner date in the city. To key to taking the look from business to after hours, is shedding the conservative blazer and tights, and switching up the accessories.
