As a fan of floral prints and maxi dresses, finding the right combination of the two is almost impossible, especially for this tall girl! So when I had the chance to design my own collection, I knew I had to include an amazing floral maxi, but instead of doing a traditional floral, I worked with Dia & Co’s creative team to create a custom print with a design studio in NYC. The print we came up with is based on my love of batik, kaleidoscope and ankara prints with some damask floral mixed in – a fresh take on fall floral.

Aside from a unique print, I included a scarf necktie in the design so it could be tied several different ways. My favorite is what I call the faux choker, achieved by criss-crossing the tie in front, before wrapping each side around to the back of the neck. Criss-cross again, then insert one end through the loop and pull to secure. You can tie it into a bow or let it flow loosely as well (More ways to tie a scarf neck in this post).

The Bianca Maxi also comes in two lengths: regular and tall, so if you’re concerned about hemming, you should be able to avoid any alterations with the right shoes and the right length!

To request the Bianca maxi, simply click here to register for your Girl With Curves x Dia box, and be sure to add a note in your profile specifying which 3 items you want to try from the collection. Your Dia stylist will do her best to include the specified pieces in your box if your sizes are available.
