I recently traveled to NYC for a work trip, which meant I not only had to pack outfits for my time away from home, but also figure out what to wear for travel itself. A travel style outfit is just as important as all the others, in my opinion, as it needs to withstand security checkpoints, time spent sitting on a plane, long layovers or lost luggage.
Because my travel outfit needs to be so versatile, I always opt for soft, comfortable layers that can be mixed and matched according to temperature and situation, topped with sleek accessories like a nice scarf and sunglasses, fashionable sneakers, and a tote bag for my work essentials. That way, I stay comfy yet polished, should I unexpectedly encounter a situation that requires me to look more put together. After all, the greatest thing about travel is you don’t always know what the next moment holds!
