I won’t lie, dressing a growing baby bump is becoming harder as the months go by – I’m now 20 weeks and counting! I find myself reaching for jeans and a tee during most weekdays as of late, especially with the weather topping off around 90 degrees. But on weekends when I know I’ll be out for the day and want to avoid having to adjust my pants every time I stand (#pregoproblems!), a dress is my favorite way to feel put together without sacrificing comfort.
I’ve had a hard time getting behind the choker trend this year – it’s a bit too edgy for my taste. But when I saw this dress with the choker-style neck, I had to give it a try. And I’m glad I did because I love the way it highlights my neck, a body part I often forget to showcase. A dress with a choker-style neck like this one adds a little something special, and I plan to keep my eye out for unique details like this more often.
Cheers to trying new things!
