I have so much fun getting dressed on vacation. I think it’s because I get to overdo it on accessories, as my husband puts it. I mean, what other time can you lounge under an umbrella wearing an oversize hat and shades, with a drink in hand (in my case, a mango-lemonade)? So yes, I take full advantage of the fabulous, over-accessorized resort fantasy I always see in magazines when I’m actually at a resort!
Before heading to Oahu last week, I ordered a few goodies for myself and my son from Zappos– my go-to online destination for shoes and accessories (did you know they have clothing too)? For myself, I wanted new accessories that would be interchangeable with several outfits. These sunglasses and wedge sandals were perfect.
For Narayan, I picked up this pair of sandals for daily outings and dinners out. They’re seriously the chicest pair of sandals I’ve ever seen for a toddler, and mom’s with sons know, cute things for boys aren’t easy to find!
ASOS palm print dress, similar wedge sandals, PRADA sunglasses c/o Zappos, RALPH LAUREN bracelets, OLD NAVY floppy hat, MARC by MARC JACOBS stud earrings, similar tote bag, MAC lipstick in neon orange
on Narayan – similar hat, OLD NAVY tee, TARGET swim trunks, RALPH LAUREN sandals c/o Zappos
Thanks to my friends at Zappos for partnering on this post.
