As some of you may know, Amazon Fashion recently unveiled Amazon Prime Wardrobe, its new try-before-you-buy shopping service, that allows you to try things risk-free before you pay for them. I had a chance to try it last week as I was shopping for dresses, sandals and accessories for my upcoming family Hawaii trip, and I’m already obsessed, so naturally I had to share my experience with all of you!
The biggest difference between this service and all the other try-before-you-buy services out there is that it doesn’t come with a stylist and there is no up-front charge. Instead, YOU, the shopper, are the stylist! Which means you choose exactly what you want in your box, versus someone else choosing items for you. You then have 7 days to try everything on, log into your account and let Amazon Prime Wardrobe know what they can expect to come back and what you’re keeping.
For my trial of the service, I ordered items for my upcoming Hawaii vacation. I typically order tons of dresses and sandals from all over, but end up sending so much back and having to wait on refunds, which really puts a big dent in my wallet. With Amazon Prime Wardrobe, you get to try before you buy without sacrificing any funds, until you decide you like something enough to keep it! They only charge you for whatever you don’t send back within the seven day try-on period, and the returns process is super easy. You just put the items back in the box, put on the pre-paid shipping label, and send it back. It’s way easier than any other shopping service out there and I couldn’t be happier with the items I ended up keeping: a Rachel Pally maxi wrap dress (I got the 1X), Rachel Pally floral print maxi (1X), Sangria palm print halter maxi (1X), Vince Camuto striped maxi (XL), Sam Edelman Sandals (true to size), Nine West block heeled sandals (true to size) and gold bangles that go with all the dresses!
You have to be an Amazon Prime member to use the service, and it’s absolutely free! Click here to start shopping.
