With the first hints of spring in the air here in California, I’m looking forward to being able to wear dresses and skirts again!
This peasant-inspired silhouette is one of my favorites, as it’s universally flattering and easy to throw on and go, without or without a belt. I love that this dress is lightweight and airy, yet still offers enough coverage for my chest and arms — something I’m looking for during spring, when the weather is warmer but there’s still a little chill in the air.
To give the look a bit of structure and keep it out of full summer mode (for which I’d pair it with flat sandals and leave the dress free-flowing), I belted the waist and added heeled sandals to elongate my legs. This is a perfect outfit for a daytime outing or even a casual office setting if you throw a blazer over it!
