If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that I’m all about fashion being inclusive and accessible.  While I tend to invest a bit more in accessories and shoes to elevate my outfits, I don’t think it takes much of an investment to dress well and feel amazing. That said, I pride myself in working with brands who share a similar outlook on this fashion philosophy, and I’m honored to be Old Navy’s Brand Ambassador over the next year- they just get it when it comes to of-the-moment styles that anyone can incorporate into their existing wardrobe!

This month’s theme at Old Navy is all about 70’s revival/festival season. Think vintage, denim blues, flowy, feminine blouses and boho-inspired accessories.

While I won’t be attending any music festivals and I’m not a big fan of all out 70’s boho, there are lots of on trend pieces I’m loving right now, that give a fashionable nod to this Spring trend. The key to making a trend work, is incorporating it in subtle ways that work for your personal style.

This off shoulder top is a versatile piece that looks just as great with jeans and casual slip-op sandals as it does tucked into your fave skirt. I wanted to showcase it with this high waist A-line denim skirt for a subtle take on festival season, along with a tassel saddle purse, to give the look even more of a 70’s vibe. Another easy way to get on board with this trend without going over the top, is with an oversized floppy hat (which by the way isn’t easy to find when you have loads of hair, so this one is highly recommended because it comes in two sizes).
