As you know, I’m a big fan of unexpected pairings – and today’s OOTD is a perfect example! Graphic tees with cute sayings on them are trending this summer, but sometimes they look too casual when worn with jeans alone. My trick? Dress your graphic tee with a midi skirt like this one and it’s instantly less casual, more ladylike.
I love the juxtaposition of the dressy, ladylike feminine silhouette on the bottom with the casual tee on top. They work off of each other perfectly: the skirt elevates the tee, while the tee makes the skirt a little more casual for everyday wear. Here, I paired the look with black slide sandals and a wicker bag, but you could throw on some fashion sneakers or heels and still rock this look.
