I’m a strong believer in secondhand fashion- I’ve been swapping clothing with friends and family for as long as I can remember, thrifting since junior high and searching for treasures in consignment shops for years. Some of my most cherished designer clothing and vintage bags are from secondhand shops! I don’t mind splurging once in a while, but I love a great deal, especially scoring designer threads for my growing toddler.

My recent discovery is thredUP, an online resource for women’s and kids high-quality secondhand fashion. They have tons of designer brands, always up to 90% off the original retail price, a variety of sizes (including plus, maternity, tall, petite, juniors) and a massive, constantly replenished inventory to choose from. I’ve literally never been able to purchase so many like-new designer items in one place! And there’s nothing better than scoring designer clothes

The website is also really easy to navigate, with lots of ways to search for specific brands, sizes and colors- much more convenient than digging through items in a store, which can take hours! Even the polka dot box everything arrives in is super cute, and my finds are always hand-folded, wrapped in tissue paper with recycled tags attached.

During my latest search, I bought an Asos Curve midi dress, Vince Camuto blouse, Tommy Hilfiger polo and Ming Wang cardigan for myself, and a J Crew puffer vest, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren polo shirts, Baby GAP Shorts and Calvin Klein vest for Narayan, all for just under $210, saving a total of $640 off of original retail price! All items are in amazing condition and each item was exactly as described.
