If you’re following me on instagram, you probably noticed I was in Oahu, Hawaii over the past few days for some much needed R&R.

My hubby and I are firm believers in hotel hopping while on vacation, no matter how long our trip is. For the first couple of nights in Oahu we stayed at Aulani Disney Resort, where my son and nieces had a blast at the kid-friendly pools, the lazy river (which we all loved!) and water slides. If you’re looking for a hotel the entire family can enjoy, I highly recommend this resort.

During the last part of our trip, we stayed just down the road at Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club. This hotel is less kid-friendly, with a couple of pools that cater mostly to adults and has lots of bars, but the beach at this hotel is the best of the two resorts. If you’re looking for more of an adult vacation in Oahu, this property has a great balance of relaxing pools and amenities, bars and a great beach.

Both of these resorts are about forty-five minutes from Lanikai Beach, which we spent an entire day at before heading home.
