Mix it Up Mix it Up

It’s important to mix styles on opposite ends of the fashion spectrum.

Because if you’re not taking risks, you’re not growing, and if you’re not growing, how can you continue developing your ever-expanding fashion identity?

Mix it Up

This outfit is exactly what I needed: a major style-mixer.

Some would say that a military inspired blazer, blousy top, print maxi-skirt, embellished flats and a lariat are a crazy combo, but I like how the different pieces come together to pull off a look that’s all mine.

Mix it Up

Each piece has a personality all its own, but still they all speak to my personal style- or should I say, my alter-ego’s?

Mix it Up

So the next time you’re getting dressed, remember: there are no rules in fashion, so why stick to a certain aesthetic?  Go all out by mixing it up with different pieces that wouldn’t normally be paired together.

And as Tim Gunn (of Project Runway) would say: make it work!
