|WEARING| Rachel Pally ‘Isa’ Dress

I always thought I’d do an ultra glam maternity shoot, with full on hair and makeup, oozing high fashion glamour. But, as I approach the home stretch of my pregnancy, the idea of going glam to take pictures with my what now seems like basketball size baby bump, is more and more unattractive and so not me.

Instead of the glamorous fantasy I played in my mind for so long, I did an impromptu shoot with minimal makeup, wearing my coziest maxi dress (which I also wore to my baby shower back in November).

Thanks to my sister who was kind enough to capture these memories, which I’m so glad I’ll always have, looking exactly like I feel at this stage in my pregnancy- happy and content, just being me.
