Lace Detail Maxi Dress

Once in a while, I find myself buying a dress I just can’t pass up. Even if I have nowhere specific to wear it at the time, I couldn’t imagine not having those special pieces I come across every so often, just in case.

When Dave recently said we were invited to a last minute dinner party, it was the perfect occasion to finally wear this beauty! I live for an interesting color mix, so I paired it with emerald green accessories and metallic shoes. The length of the dress is almost perfect for my 5’10” frame with flats, but not quite where I’d like it to fall with heels, so I knotted one side for a grecian-goddess look (a trick I use when a maxi is too short or too long, also seen in this post).
