The past month, I took a break from shooting outfits to spend quality time with my family and my new daughter, Mina. So I’m especially excited to share my very first outfit post since giving birth!

As I’ve mentioned, keeping my routine as quick as possible is really important these days, whether it’s by simplifying my beauty regimen or figuring out easy ways to stay comfy and stylish. This OOTD is a great example of how you can still make a statement without overthinking your outfit — it’s just a matter of choosing a trend-forward version of items you may already own!

A cozy sweater, jeans, and Converse sneakers are a great go-to base outfit that I can wear when running errands with a baby in tow. Not only are they super comfortable, they also go easy on my body post-partum and don’t require any thinking when I put them on. I could just throw on a hoodie and joggers and be done with it — which I totally do some days! — but for a more styled look, I top off the look with my new favorite piece: a white trench coat.

While the shape is forgiving and familiar, the color is what really makes it pop! A lot of women tend to stay away from white because of the misconception that it’s unflattering, but I think it’s an elegant alternative that looks great on pretty much every skin tone and goes with everything in your closet that a black or camel coat would! And with this particular trench, I love that you have options — it looks just as sleek cinched at the waist as it does worn loose and open.
