If there’s one print that comes back season after season, it’s romantic florals. Breezy and feminine, florals can be casual, dressy and practical for all seasons, including colder months, and look great on every body type. If you haven’t noticed, I can’t get enough of them!

Just because summer is coming to a close doesn’t mean you have to pack away your floral pieces just yet. You might remember some of the Old Navy looks I shared earlier this summer that played off this trend turned classic, and now they’re keeping the romantic vibe going into fall with a new Wanderlust collection. I love it because it’s filled with pieces made in flowy, brightly colored fabrics, boho-inspired silhouettes in cotton with feminine ruffle details, as well as sturdy denim and chambray, that work for late summer but can also fend off a chill when you need them to. And there are plenty of gorgeous options from blouses to skirts and dresses, so you’ll have no shortage to choose from when you want to layer or mix and match!

The entire collection is perfect for the late summer-to-fall transition, and this outfit shows off two of my favorite pieces from it: the Flutter-Sleeve Waisted Midi (which also comes in black) and a classic Distressed Denim Jacket.

Paired with comfy wedges and a tote, the dress still has the carefree air of summer, but the jacket keeps me equipped for those first signs of fall, like the gusty winds that have already started blowing in towards the evening. It’s the perfect farewell to summer – just swap the sandals for booties and the look is ready for colder climates!
