12. LAYER TRICK
This sweatshirt dress was a tad boxy for my taste, so I added a maxi blouse underneath to give the look a softer silhouette along with a bit of extra length, and voila! it’s one of my favorite layering moments of the year!

11. THE WHITE COAT
I’ll admit, wearing white is harder than it looks when you’re a mom (LOL!), so this jacket’s reserverd for when Narayan is at grandma’s.

10. BLUSH PINK
The blush trend was another one I didn’t think I could get on board with since I’m not big on the color pink, but sometimes I surprise myself- this jacket’s been on repeat in my closet this year.

9. PLEATS, PLEASE!
As a true girly girl, I love anything pleated, and this duster easily dresses up even the simplest of outfits.

8. SPRING WORK WEAR
Prints aren’t typically a wear to work staple, but this dress convinced me it’s possible to inject some true personal style into one’s office attire, especially during Spring.

7. THE JUMPSUIT
I’ll be the first to admit jumpsuits aren’t flattering on me for the most part, but call me stubborn, I was determined to make it work! One like this made of stretch fabric did just the trick- it conformed to my curves perfectly.

This look is one that perfectly sums-up my personal style: classic with a modern yet modest take on trends.
