Floral Print Dresses for Day and Night

As a girl who loves dressing up but doesn’t get the opportunity to do so very often during colder months, I take full advantage during the holidays! Since we stayed home to host two separate Thanksgiving feasts with friends and family last week, I wanted to find a different dress for each function- both with long sleeves so I could go without a top layer, and easy to move in silhouettes so I wouldn’t have to fuss with my clothes while playing host. Thankfully, I didn’t have to search very far to find two equally amazing floral print dresses at Target!

I’m always super excited when I find affordable pieces that look expensive, because as I always say: style doesn’t have to come with a high price tag. For lunch with family, this midi dress was the perfect choice. From the flowy chiffon fabric, gorgeous dark floral print and universally flattering silhouette, it was a statement on its own with simple stud earrings and a burgundy clutch. For evening dinner with friends, I chose a shorter hemline in a more abstract floral print and dressed it up with pumps, sparkly earrings, bangles and a sleek clutch. I love the feminine blouson sleeves, faux leather piping detail, defined waistline, and it would’ve looked just as great with tights or leggings underneath. It’s safe to say I’ll be wearing both dresses again in the near future!
