If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been majorly crushing on florals lately! From bohemian day dresses to floor-length maxis, they’re the star of my wardrobe right now.
I’ve always loved the off-the-shoulder look for warmer weather, so snatching up this dress was the next logical step for me. I love how timeless the pattern is – I could imagine it fitting in as much in the ‘50s as it does today. I found it in the new Old Navy Greenhouse Charm collection, which has a great selection of bright and pretty staples that are super affordable (I snagged this dress for $45!). Since the neckline makes a statement on its own, I kept the sandals and bag neutral, with just a bit of texture, and the accessories minimal.
I’ve found that Old Navy has been a consistent go-to for me this season, so when I was invited to the brand’s Hi, Fashion event showcasing the new dresses collection in New York City earlier this week, I jumped at the chance! The event was held in a private space in Chelsea Market, completely decked out with silk flowers- it felt like a tropical island! There was a flower crown station, tons of photo opportunities and a skateboard art station- my sister took home the wall art board.
If you’re on the hunt for spring staples, now’s the time to get them at Old Navy – there’s an amazing sale happening now through April 9th in store and online. All dresses and accessories are up to 50% off (!!!), with dresses starting at $15, shoes starting at $12, and bags from $12. I highly recommend checking it out now before this dress sells out!
