Caped

I finally had an opportunity to wear this trench cape during the recent freeze warning in the Bay Area- insane, I know! (And it only dropped to 42 degrees fahrenheit, but for us Californians that’s COLD). Sadly, it’s sold out in most sizes, but I linked similar options in the ‘Featured’ section below.

I’ve tried capes time and time again, only to come to the conclusion that #1: most traditional capes with arm holes are in the wrong place for us tall girls (I’m 5’10”), which leaves us with tiny t-rex arms- not flattering, and #2: they usually add bulk, which doesn’t make any plus girl very confident. This trench cape though, is genius, allowing me to emphasize my waist while reaping the benefit of the modern caped effect.
