Big Basin Redwoods

Dave and I took Nyan to Big Basin over the weekend, along with my cousin, her husband and their 3 boys.  

I’m not usually excited to do anything associated with bugs and dirt, but continuing our effort to do more family activities over the weekend, we decided to take the hour drive to Boulder Creek, enjoy the scenery and explore the park through the eyes of the boys, letting them lead the way through giant redwoods, collecting sticks and throwing rocks into every stream they came across.
