With only a few weeks left until Halloween (and a son who’s extremely excited about it!), I’ve started to think about what I’ll wear as a costume. Because shopping for an entirely new ensemble takes time and can end up being pricey, I always start my brainstorm by looking in my closet, asking myself: Are there any existing pieces I can easily rework into a Halloween costume?
Thanks to my fall wardrobe this year, there are several options I can quickly transform into fun, classy looks for Halloween. Based on outfits I regularly wear in real life, they’re perfect for going straight from the office or running errands to a Halloween event. Just pack a few costume add-ons in your bag for the day, and you’re ready for celebration mode!

What better way to channel the magic of childhood wonder this Halloween than to dress up as Mary Poppins, the star of the beloved Disney movie musical? A few fun props transform a peplum and skirt combo into the whimsical nanny’s wardrobe (adding song and dance is up to you).

Cool Cat
