Along with velvet and satin, lace is usually reserved for occasions, and for good reason! I wore this high-low lace dress to an outdoor wedding recently and it worked perfectly for the occasion.

I love that lace is romantic but approachable, making it the perfect special occasion fall fabric. Whether your special occasion is a formal gathering or a date night, a lace dress makes a sophisticated, ladylike style statement without trying too hard.

I paired this navy number with nude accessories, because what better way to accent a gorgeous dress than with understated add-ons?! The cape coat is one I’ve had in my closet for years, that always comes in handy during in-between weather. Even at almost 7 months pregnant (time has seriously flown by!), this dress fits amazingly well and I couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop to showcase it.
