This look is one I actually got to wear in NYC last week. As mentioned in Monday’s post, I didn’t pack for snow, hence the inappropriate sneakers, but fortunately I at least had lots of clothing options in my suitcase in order to create this look!
I always pack neutrals when I travel because they can be mixed and matched, worn several different ways or all together, as I’ve done here.
As a base for this neutral color palette, l swapped my usual dark denim for these gray jeans– my latest denim obsession. Then I added a cable knit sweater that literally goes with everything and kept me ultra warm all week. Underneath is my heattech tee, everyday cami, along with heattech leggings underneath the jeans.
To complete the look, I added a midi length camel coat– the ultimate neutral outer layer. It’s timelessly classic, casual enough to wear with jeans, and the oversize fit lets me layer as much as I want to underneath. To add a touch of glam, I topped off the outfit with a pearl embellished beret and a nude bag.
