I had the pleasure of co-hosting the Macy’s Front Row Fall Fashion Show in my hometown on Saturday, alongside Caroline Rooney, who styled the show. Thanks so much to everyone who came and stuck around to chat afterwards, it’s always so nice meeting readers!
Here’s a rundown of what I wore, as well as a few of the looks that walked the runway.
OUTFIT DETAILS
While it’s officially Fall, it’s still really warm the Bay Area, so I went with dressed up denim for the event.
- Top: Rachel Roy (true to size, wearing 1X)
- Jeans: INC (true to size, wearing 16)
- Choker: Urban Outfitters
- Multi-strand necklace: Old, BCBG
- Shoes: Old, Ivanka Trump
- Lip Color: Sephora Collection 12 African Violet
VEST + OFF-SHOULDER TOP
This look demonstrates a great layering trick for transitioning an off-shoulder top into Fall, and you can’t go wrong pairing stripes with classic camel.
- Vest: Maison Jules
- Top: INC
- Leggings: INC
- Hat: August
- Shoes: INC
PRINTED SHEATH
This dress is one I wasn’t sure I liked at first, but the classic sheath silhouette, artistic play on stripes and bold colors won me over.
- Dress (0x-3X): Rachel Roy
- Dress (XS-XXL): Rachel Roy
COLD-SHOULDER MAXI
This dress is so unique- this picture doesn’t do it any justice! It was styled with shorts underneath to showcase the wrap detailing, but it would look just as amazing with leggings or over-the-knee boots. The print is a sophisticated, modern take on boho, in bold autumn tones.
- Dress: INC
STATEMENT COAT
Fall fashion is all about a statement outer layer, and a coat in a crimson red does just that! This one was styled over a turtleneck, leggings and sneakers.
- Top: INC
- Coat: Via Spiga
- Leggings: Michael Kors
- Shoes: Betsey Johnson
COLD-SHOULDER SWEATER
We saw a lot of cold-shoulders during Spring, so it’s no surprised the trend carried over to Fall in the form of blouses, dresses and sweaters. This one was worn casually chic, paired with a faux suede legging and booties.
PEPLUM + CROPPED FLARE
Until I saw this look, I was convinced the cropped flare jean wasn’t something I would ever try, but the model wore it beautifully, paired with a peplum top, statement necklace and lace-up flats.
- Top: Rachel Roy
- Jeans: Michael Kors
- Necklace: INC
